The year opened with a review meeting led by Team Nigama, under the guidance of Sameer Penakalapati. The team aligned on future initiatives, welcomed new volunteers, and planned expanded outreach through social media, expert-led educational videos on mental health and de-addiction, and pilot programs on menstrual hygiene and blood grouping. Essential kits were also distributed to extend support beyond the sessions, reinforcing Nigama Foundation’s commitment to sustained community impact.
In January alone, Project Parivarthan reached over 1,500 young adults across 11 hostels, technology institutes, and colleges, delivering focused awareness programs on mental health, drug abuse prevention, and screen de-addiction. Designed with intent, these sessions encouraged healthier choices, stronger digital habits, and greater mental well-being, with distinct programs addressing the specific challenges faced by young men and women.
We are committed to the development of education and care for those members of our communities who need it the most. We aim to build a more equitable world by delivering dignity one person at a time.
